Campbellsville Fire-Rescue was dispatched to a report of a working house fire. Upon arrival, firefighters found heavy smoke and fire conditions coming from the house. Firefighters were able to confirm all occupants were out and rescued one cat from fire conditions; crews extinguished the fire and provided overhaul. The cause of the fire is related to an electrical issue in the bedroom. No civilian or firefighter’s injuries were reported and all occupants were evaluated by EMS.
