Campbellsville Fire-Rescue Hosts Volunteer Recruitment Event
Campbellsville, KY – Campbellsville Fire-Rescue is calling on dedicated individuals to step up and serve their community by becoming volunteer firefighters. The department will be hosting a Volunteer Recruitment Event on Monday, April 1, at 6:00 PM at the Campbellsville Fire-Rescue Station 3, located at 130 Trace Creek Road.
This event is open to anyone interested in learning more about what it takes to become a volunteer firefighter or emergency responder. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet current firefighters, tour the station, and experience hands-on demonstrations of firefighting equipment and techniques. Department leaders will be on hand to discuss training requirements, benefits of volunteering, and the impact volunteers have on the safety and well-being of the Campbellsville-Taylor County community.
“We rely on our volunteers to help keep our community safe,” said Chris Taylor, Fire Chief of Campbellsville Fire-Rescue. “This event is a great way for folks to see firsthand what it means to serve and find out how they can make a difference.”
No prior experience is necessary, and individuals from all backgrounds are encouraged to attend. The department provides all necessary training and equipment for volunteers. If you’ve ever thought about joining the fire service or giving back to your community in a meaningful way, this is the perfect opportunity to take that first step.
